Some bands play a venue. We play a region.
OnPoint has spent years building a reputation that extends far beyond Hong Kong — and today, our passports have more stamps than a customs officer’s desk. From private villas to five-star ballrooms, we’ve brought the OnPoint experience to some of Asia’s most spectacular settings. Here’s a look at where we’ve been, and how it all works.
Our Most-Requested Destinations
The Philippines — Our most-booked country, and it’s easy to see why. Filipino people are among the warmest in the world, and the venues match. We’ve performed in Bataan, Manila, and Cebu, at Mactan’s Shangri-La, and on the powder-white sands of Boracay — where, yes, we have absolutely played barefoot. Sand and sequins. Would recommend.
Singapore — From the tropical modernism of Pan Pacific Orchard to the heritage elegance of the Singapore Polo Club, the refined luxury of Capella Singapore, and the iconic grandeur of The Ritz-Carlton, Singapore has given us some of our most elegant stages — and some of our most enthusiastic corporate crowds.
Thailand — The country of mai pen rai, and our response to every Thai booking: mai pen problem. We’ve performed at private villas in Phuket and Koh Samui, at the storied Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, and at the serene Aman Nai Lert Bangkok. Beach weddings, riverside galas, infinity pool sunsets with a saxophone solo. Thailand understands atmosphere.
The Occasions
Destination bookings are, at heart, the same celebrations we love at home — just with better backdrops. We travel most often for:
- Weddings — beach ceremonies, villa receptions, grand hotel ballrooms
- Corporate annual events — gala dinners, awards nights, company retreats
- Birthday parties — milestone celebrations where “small” was never on the guest list
How a Destination Booking Works
We’ve done this enough times that the process is genuinely painless. A few things that make it easy:
1. No deposit required — flights confirm the booking.
Rather than collecting a deposit for overseas events, we simply ask clients to book our flights. Once your itinerary hits our inbox, consider the date locked. It’s simple, paper-light, and gives everyone certainty.
2. Flights and accommodations are on you; peace of mind is on us.
Clients arrange and cover our travel and stay. In return, we bring a band that arrives prepared, professional, and ready to perform — no matter how long the journey.
3. We arrive the day before, and stay flexible on departure.
Our standard practice is to fly in the day before the event to settle in, allow for any flight delays or delayed baggage, and soundcheck the next day without rush. Departure is typically a day or two after.
4. We come with a checklist.
Years of travelling with the band means we’ve distilled everything into a neat, practical list for planners and clients — what we need, what to confirm, and when. If you’re organizing a destination event, this little document makes arranging everything remarkably easy.
Every Stage You Can Imagine
Beaches. Poolside decks. Grand halls. High-end event tents large enough to house a small aircraft. We’ve set up on all of them — and because we perform across every genre, from soul, R&B, and Top 40 to rock, reggae, jazz, hip hop, even a few Chinese songs, we can adapt the set to any crowd in any country.
Many of our destination clients are names we can’t share — NDAs come with the territory at this level. But ask any of the venues above whether they’d have us back, and we suspect you’ll get a very quick yes.
Planning a Destination Wedding or Event?
We offer a destination event package designed to make international bookings as smooth as a local one — travel coordination, set planning, and a clear checklist for your planner, all in one place.

Hong Kong made us their favourite party band. The rest of Asia seems to agree.
