Without bragging I think we can say, OnPoint is the best dressed band in town. With over 30 colours that we can match as a unit. From sequinned suits and gowns, to a hip hop flavour, or even 70’s rock hip. Just let us know your theme or colour palette and OnPoint will dress accordingly.
We can do it all and have done it all. From a living room party in an apartment, to a junk boat birthday party, to a stadium with 75000 people OnPoint has the means to maintain our quality sound and professional entertainment.
Yes, and it’s always lovely to play outside! For outdoor events, especially during the rainy season or extreme hot weather, a cover tent is recommended for protection of the equipment and to make sure the band can continue playing while under protection.
a) Cancellation by the Client:
In the event of cancellation of the contract by the Client the deposit will not be refunded and in addition to this
i) if the Contract is cancelled by the Client within 90 days of the Event Date then 50% of the Balance will be payable;
ii) if the Contract is cancelled by the Client within 30 days of the Event Date then 100% of the Balance will be payable.
Any applicable cancellation fees shall be payable by the Client to OnPoint within 7 days of cancellation notice.
b) Cancellation by the OnPoint
Cancellation by the OnPoint is not permitted for any reason except circumstances covered by Force Majeure (war, death, act of God, accident, fire, serious illness, political unrest, etc.)
c) Postponement is allowed within 365 days from the event if there is an emergency or necessary pause (sickness, pregnancy, death in the family, company closure etc). Deposit is held and a new date can be selected. If the new date cannot be agreed upon it is considered a cancellation and fees apply. Deposit is transferable.
Small announcements like “Ladies and Gentlemen, please take your seats”, or “We would like to wish a very happy birthday to …”, are welcome! But speeches and long introductions, our outside of our comfort zone and not really what we were hired to do.
Small things like, clip on mics for your officiant, audio visual connections, bringing equipment up stairs when there is no elevator, travelling to a farther away region of HK, can cost an additional fee of 500 to 1500 HKD.
Everything else is included.
No. If the event is outside of the main Hong Kong or south Kowloon areas there may be a small travel expense. For example, Sai Kung, Shek O, or Fanling would be an extra $1200 HK for the band and sound company. Outside of HK, the client is responsible for covering flight, hotel and transportation fees.
Absolutely! OnPoint is dedicated to making your event “on point” as well. That means helping you create your perfect event. A sweet acoustic duo as the bride marches down the isle? Or maybe a swinging instrumental trio while your guests enter the foyer for pre drinks. Then the full band extravaganza for the main event! Let as know and we can discuss the discounted additional fees for the extra set ups.
Yes! OnPoint is a one stop shop. Everything you need for a live band is included, even the mics for your speeches! Lighting and sound for your videos can also be taken care of for a minimal fee. We make it easy
